Stitching order (numbered)

How to make it
You will need
- Miyuki Delica beads (see the bead list with DB numbers)
- Beading thread (KO, One-G, or similar)
- Beading needle (size #10–#12)
- Scissors and a bead mat
Getting started (peyote stitch)
- Add a stopper bead about 15 cm (6 in) from the thread end, using a bead not found in the pattern.
- String the bottom two rows of the chart in order — they become rows 1 and 2.
- From row 3, repeat “pick up one bead, pass through the next up-bead of the previous row.” Work from the bottom up.
- This chart is odd-count peyote (21 beads wide), so every other row ends with the classic figure-8 turn at one edge: at the end of the row, catch the edge threads and pass back through the last bead to turn around.
Finishing off
- Weave the tail in a zigzag through several nearby beads.
- Tie half-hitch knots around the threads between beads, two or three times in different places.
- Pass through a few more beads and trim the thread.
- Remove the stopper bead and finish that tail the same way.
